On the afternoon of October 16th, Mr. Shen Yang, who is an influential person from International Trust and Investment CompanyScope Rating in the European financial community, brought a theme report to the teachers and students of our school entitled “The Financialization Dilemma—Financial Hegemony and Implications on the Global order ”，the theme report has been deeply discussed with the teachers and students about the international economic situation, Sino-US trade friction, employment and development in the financial investment field.
The meeting was held by Wang Yufeng, the director of the Department of Investment, and several teachers including Zhang Jian and Yang Wenxiang attended the meeting.
Mr. Shen first introduced the current situation of national financialization in the world's major developed countries. At the same time, combined with the reality of investors' participation in short-term irrational behaviors in financial markets, he used Granger causality test to explain the relationship betweennational financializationand economic cycle. Mr. shenalso systematically discussed a series of economic and social welfare consequences brought by the national financialization of developed countries.
Mr. Shen Yang graduated from Cornell University with a master's degree in economics and world development studies from the London School of Economics in 2013. He has worked in Morgan Stanley ，JP Morgan in New York, securities company Alliance Bernsteinand Scope Rating International Trust and Investment Company in Europe .
